We’re excited to announce a series of new features, enhancements, and fixes designed to improve your experience on the Hirebridge platform. Here’s what’s new:
Workflow Panel in Candidate Record
- A new workflow panel has been added to candidate profiles. This provides a clear, step-by-step view of the hiring process, showing completed milestones, outstanding requirements, and who completed each action — all in one place.
Custom Action Names in System Event Logs
- System event logs now support custom action code names, allowing for better alignment with your internal naming conventions and improved clarity in event tracking.
Improved Sterling Background Check Integration
- We’ve enhanced support for Sterling background checks while maintaining compatibility with existing configurations. This update ensures smoother and more reliable integration.
Automatic Milestone Creation from Workflow Steps
- Workflow steps now trigger the automatic creation of milestones, making it easier to track progress and visualize key steps in the candidate lifecycle.
Dedicated System User for API Activity
- Hirebridge now creates a dedicated system user for API operations instead of defaulting to the first admin user. This provides clearer attribution for automated actions in your audit trail.
All Application Questions Now Included in Snapshots
- Candidate snapshots and applications now include all submitted questions and answers, even if certain fields are hidden elsewhere in the record.
Expanded Document Library Field Limits
- The character limit for document filenames and titles has been expanded from 40/50 to 150 characters, allowing for more descriptive naming.
Assessment Link Expiration Override
- Admins can now override the default 14-day expiration for assessment links — ideal for pre-generated links used in long-running campaigns.
Support for Multiple Application Question Sets
- You can now include two sets of application questions: one for company-wide use and another specific to individual jobs. This is fully compatible with third-party application sources like Indeed and ZipRecruiter.
Merge Field for Approval Chains in System Notifications
- System-generated notifications now support a new merge field that displays approval chains, offering more transparency during job and offer workflows.
Reset Function for Completed Onboarding Forms
- Admins now have the ability to reset completed onboarding forms in the event of mistakes or changes — reducing friction in correcting data.
Offer Compensation Comparison Enhancements
- You can now choose whether salary or hourly compensation should be used when comparing offers against a job’s defined pay range.
Workflow Entry Trigger Issue Resolved
- Fixed an issue where resetting a candidate’s workflow did not properly trigger entry actions. This ensures all workflow steps function as intended.
Fix for Missing “View Offer” Button in Custom Emails
- Emails composed without a template now correctly include the “View Offer Letter” button, ensuring a consistent candidate experience.
Safari Validation Fix for Google Translate
- Resolved a Safari-specific issue where forms wouldn’t validate correctly when Google Translate was active on the page.
