Under the GDPR, organizations must have a transparent privacy policy explaining how it collects, processes and protects data. It also must give instructions to data subjects (candidates) on how to ask your company to delete and correct their data. We've provided one for you just in case your company does not have one.
With Hirebridge, you can create a privacy notice or link out to your organization's privacy notice. Either way, the privacy notice is seamlessly integrated into both the application and sourced candidate workflows.
The Privacy Notice should include details of:
Length: How long your organization intends to store the candidate data. If it’s not possible to provide an exact length of time, then explain the criteria used to determine that period
Right To Delete: How candidates can withdraw their consent to the processing of their personal data
Corrections: How candidates can request corrections or access to their data, or ask for it to be deleted from your system
Complaints: Who candidates should contact should they want to lodge a complaint regarding the processing of their personal data
- Privacy Policy Link Text - The text that candidates can click on to view the company's Privacy Policy (this will be seen on the first page of your candidate application form)
- Privacy Policy URL Link - This is the actual link address for the company's Privacy Policy page
- Privacy Policy HTML - If you do not want to link out to your company website privacy policy, you can enter your privacy policy here. If your company doesn't have one you can use the one we've created.

- Once all of the privacy policy settings are set select Save Settings.
