Changing a candidate’s stage helps you track where they are in the hiring process—from initial review to final offer. This functionality allows for better visibility and coordination across your hiring team.
Steps to Change a Candidate’s Stage:
1. Navigate to the Candidate list page
From your list of candidates, click into the candidate’s name to access their profile.
2. Locate the “Stage” Section
On the candidate’s profile overview page, find the section labeled “Stage” (outlined in red in screenshot below).
3. Click the Current Stage Name
Click the blue text next to the “Stage” label. This will open a drop-down menu of available stages.
4. Select the New Stage
Choose the appropriate stage from the list. Once selected, a confirmation popup will appear.

Confirm the Change
Click Yes or Confirm to apply the stage change.
Note: Some stages may require you to complete additional fields or trigger other workflow steps depending on your organization’s setup.
If your account uses workflows, available stages may vary based on the step you’re currently in within that workflow.
