Candidate Search (Hiring Manager)

Searching efficiently helps you zero-in on the right applicants without paging through every record. Hirebridge offers two quick ways to find candidates:

  • Full Candidate Search – best when you need all search filters (job requisition, date range, distance, status, etc.).

  • Quick Search panel – perfect for a fast lookup while you’re reviewing other pages.


Method 1 – Full Candidate Search

  1. In the main navigation bar, click the Candidates tab and choose Candidate Search.

  2. You’ll land on the Candidate Search page. Use any combination of filters:

    • Job Requisition – narrow results to a specific opening.

    • Date Range – find candidates who applied within a set period.

    • Distance – search within a mileage radius of a ZIP/postal code.

    • Additional filters (status, source, stage, etc.) as needed.

  3. Click Search. Matching candidates appear in the results grid.

  4. Select a candidate’s name to open the profile or use the column headers to sort.

 

 

 


 

Method 2 – Quick Search Panel

  1. From any page, click the green Search Candidates button on the left-hand edge of the screen.

  2. A slide-out panel appears with key lookup fields such as First/Last Name, Email, and Phone.

  3. Enter your criteria and press Enter or click Search. Results open instantly in the same panel.

  4. Select a candidate in the list to jump directly to their profile.

Tips for Faster, More Accurate Searches

  • Combine multiple filters (e.g., Job Requisition and Date Range) to tighten results.

  • Use partial information—typing “Smit” in Last Name returns “Smith,” “Smits,” etc.

  • Remember that Distance is calculated from the candidate’s primary address.

  • Clear filters between searches to avoid unintended carry-over.

  • Save time by bookmarking the Candidate Search page for one-click access.
