This article will cover how to create a custom Approval Chain.
- The first step is to select your username top right corner.
- Next select "Administration"
- This will now take you to the "Administration Control Panel"
- If you
- In the "System Utilities" column this is where you would want to select which type of Approval Chain you would like to create.
- Creating Job Requisition and Offer Approval Chains both have the same process.
- After selecting which chain you would like to edit you will now land on the "Requisition Approval Chains" page. (Pictured below)

- Once you have selected Add it will take you to the "Approval Chain Editor" page.
- Chain Name - This is where you would put the name of the chain
Automatic email notification upon events
- Final Approval – Enables you to choose who will get an email notification upon approval
- Declined – Enables you to choose who will get an email notification when the job has been declined.
- Include hiring manager - Includes the hiring manager in the notifications.
- Include Recruiter - Includes the recruiter in the notifications.
Automatic job status upon final approval (This option is available only for requisition approval)
- Make Status - Allows you to choose the status of the requisition once it has been approved.
Chain members or links (in order of placement)
- This section is where you select who the approvers will be
- The list will go from top to bottom, where the person on top will be the first one that will need to approve and at the bottom the last one needing to approve.
Once you are satisfied with the chain of approvers select the "save" button.
