This article will guide you on how to set up the Employee Referral Portal.
- To access the Employee Referral Portal Settings select your username in the top right corner.
- A drop-down list will appear where you will need to select "Administration" then select "Employee Referral Module Setup"
- You will now land on the "Employee Referral Module Setup" page.
- Starting from the left side "Visibility" we will cover each tab and features available.
Display referral options on which career center sites? - Choosing from this drop-down list allows you to select where you would like the option for employees to submit referrals.
Do you want employees to refer or submit candidates (or both)? - This enables you the option to choose if you would like employees to submit a candidate or refer them.
- Refer - Displayed on the public website that allows employees to refer candidates by filling out basic information.
- Submit - This feature allows candidates to submit candidates using the intranet portal.
Hyperlink text to display on public career pages (where allowed by rule) - This option gives you the option to label the hyperlink for employees to refer candidates.
Send E-Mail to employee-submitted candidates - checking this option will send a confirmation email to the candidate that was submitted by the employee.
Account Options Tab
- Required login to refer - Checking this box enables a login to refer a candidate
- Require Company e-mail address - Require employees when registering to use the company domain.
- Allow applications via referral portal - allows current employees to be able to apply to jobs using the referral portal.
Language
- This section allows you to add any language or instructions to the login page.
- The duplicate submission error message section is where you can manage the message to display when submitting a duplicate candidate.
Logo
- The logo tab allows you to upload a custom logo for the employee referral portal. If no logo is included it will default to the career center logo.
Feedback
- This section allows you to select the question set for the referrer.
- The question sets can be accessed by going to the Feedback Question Set Manager.
- After submitting the candidates required information it will then ask a basic question set for the employee submitting the candidate.
- The section drop-down list option at the bottom will allow you to select an email template in which the employee referring the candidate will receive.
Submit Options
- When an employee submits a candidate you can make the candidate information fields visible or required.
- Checking the "Visible" checkbox will ask for the candidate information.
- Checking the "Required" checkbox will make the candidate information field required.
- Once the fields you would like to have required for the candidate have been set select "Save Settings".
- Custom fields are also available if you would like to include custom text or yes/no fields.
Filters
- The filters tab allows you to modify which filters are available in the employee referral portal.
- Checking a filter makes it available on the employee referral portal.
Stylesheet
- Use the Stylesheet tab to tailor the look and feel of the Employee Referral Portal.
